Dr. Rudolf Krska is a distinguished professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, known for his expertise in chemical and analytical chemistry, with a specific focus on food safety. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Vienna University of Technology and has since established himself as a leading authority in the field of analytical chemistry.
Dr. Krska's research endeavors are primarily dedicated to understanding and managing mycotoxins within the food chain, developing innovative analytical techniques for detecting food contaminants, and evaluating the nutritional quality of food products. His work has been pivotal in reducing mycotoxin contamination in agricultural commodities, and he has fostered close collaborations with the food industry and regulatory authorities to enhance food safety standards.
